With Zhang Yimou as the general director and Sha Xiaolan as the general producer, Fengshang Culture undertakes the production of the Welcome to Beijing Segment in the closing ceremony for the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The performance combines the future, technology and modernity, not only using transparent LED screens and projection on the ground, AI and other technologies, but also for the first time adopting 24 robots. The performance perfectly interprets the spirit of the "Humanistic Olympics" and "High-tech Olympics" of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

People celebrating on the street is an important component of the celebrating event, and it took place in the evening. In order to fulfill its needs of lighting support, our designing team set up 24 illumination equipment that can be lifted both directions on Beijing’s main street Changan street.

The 22nd APEC conference dinner welcoming event breaks into three main parts, being the lighting and visual show, the giant video screen show, and the fireworks show.

The G20 Hangzhou Summit Art Performance, with Zhang Yimou as the chief director and Sha Xiaolan as the chief producer, is based on the theme of “Innovation, Invigoration, Interconnection, Inclusiveness” and delivers a concept of “West Lake, Hangzhou features, Jiangnan charm, Chinese style and world’s harmony”.

The water and light show Chasing Dreams of Tang Dynasty is our brand new cultural performance product of the concept “Daytime tour with a night show”.

The main stage is set on water, with the Han Culture Expo Park and mountains as the backdrop, creating a romantic atmosphere where the audience feel like traveling through the time and are able to truly experience the simple and rich Chinese culture. The water curtain alternately shows traditional Chinese painting scroll images and contemporary popular elements, and is cleverly combined with the buildings in Han Culture Expo Park, gaily-painted boats, and luminous lotuses on the water to achieve the dreamy effect of the fusion of the stage and the water.

It is a cultural tourism project about Jinyang culture in China for the first time. It also makes up for the blank in the water show field in Taiyuan City.

Different from the traditional performing style of landscape shows, this one-hour performance is created by high-tech, with poetry as the soul and landscape as the carrier to present a fascinating poetic world through recreating the environment where those poems were written. The independently innovated project contains the largest scale and the most complicated technology on the inland water.

The event took place in the city of Han Zhong, which is an important city in the history of China both socially and culturally. The central concept of “Han culture” has been well presented by mixing lights, shadows, and water together with modern technologies.

The performance is located in the Han Culture Hall of Xinghan Fantasy Land scenic spot in Hanzhong. As one of the trilogy of Fengshang Culture Han Culture Series, it took three years to build. It is China's first large-scale performing art project with the theme of history of Han Dynasty.

The performance aims to promote polite and modest thoughts into life and to promote traditional Chinese culture. The whole drama contains three acts - Feng Ya Song (poetry), four seasons, nine symphony tunes. The whole performance runs through one's life and guides the audience into the ritual and music picture of Feng Ya Song, into the four seasons cycle from ancient times to the present, into the splendid history of the Chinese millennium ritual music culture, and to experience the elegant life style.

For the light show, 47 high-power beam lights are installed on the top of the Shanghai Tower, and 300 G10 HYBRID lights on the tower body, controlled by a coordinated control system. To achieve the light effect. The Shanghai Center is like a 632-meter-high dazzling tree, shining with colorful light.

Fengshang Culture uses light to outline the mountains, the lake, trees, bridges and pavilions in the non-performance area. These objects are systematically and artistically decorated. The audience feel that immersion in the scenery is enjoyment, and the scenery turns into the stage setting when the actors perform. The actors and the environment echo each other in a harmonious way.

During the Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Meet, our company crated another performance in the eastern part of Zhengzhou city, where the Sports Meet took place. The illumination was set to be displayed on the millennium square building located in the central business area of Zhengzhou. We were in charge of lighting design and set up. By blending the culture of central China as well as local culture with illumination show, a new city night view culture that tells stories going into people’s heart was created.

With a total investment of 160 billion yuan, designing by 600 top world class architects, Hengda group’s Haihua island project in Hainan province serves as a super project that contains multiple facilities including an international conference center, museums, theme parks, sea worlds, high end shopping centers, luxury hotels and resorts. There are reports and analyzations that indicates Haihua island will potentially become one of the popular travel destinations globally in the next decade.

Yanqi Lake International Exhibition Center - Lighting art design

The event uses about 8000 lights in the landscape area. The scale is larger than any previous event. The total area is about 16,000 square meters, divided into three. Areas A and B are mainly for landscape lighting, and area C is a performance area.
